Sons of the American Legion Post 93
Wow! Great turnout at the SAL sponsored Bingo night on November 1st.
Thanks to all who attended. Please come again and bring all your
friends! The next one will be on the 1st Thursday of December, the
6th. All proceeds go to Kaleidoscope Child Care, run by Amber Paulsen.
Thanks Amber for all you've done and continue to do for our kids.
We
will not be having a board meeting in December, but I am going to
continue to stress the need for more of our eighty members to please
make the time to attend our meetings on the third Monday of every month
at 6:30 P.M. Please step up and help us help others in need.
Happy Holidays to all and I hope to see more of you in the new year, providing the world doesn't end as predicted!
Thanks to all for your continued support.
MICK STEVENS, COMMANDER
The Sons of The American Legion was
created in 1932 as an organization within The American Legion. The S.A.L. is made up
of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the
United States military and became eligible for membership in The
American Legion. Together, members of The American Legion, The American
Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of The American Legion make up what is
known as The Legion Family. All three organizations place high
importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving
the quality of life for our nation's children, caring for veterans and
their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals
of good citizenship.
